HAPPY DRAKE BELL CD PREMIERE DAY

It's been a looooong wait for today, and now it's finally freaking here. And because my internet!twin angelkutty asked, here are my thoughts on the cd, track by track (and i'm in no way using this to procrastinate on my reading. NO SIR.)

Drove for a half an hour out to class to find it to be CANCELLED. Which was awful, but it ended up being a blessing in disguise because I got to get work done for my critical analysis paper due in a couple weeks - score!

So while looking at the tracklisting for the new Drake Bell cd, look at this little gem I stumbled upon:

VH 1 has announced that they’ll be picking up a new reality series titled Man Band. It will feature members from five boy bands including Bryan Abrams - Color Me Badd, Rich Cronin - LFO, Chris Kirkpatrick - NSYNC and Jeff Timmons - 98 Degrees. The guys will be living together and will be challenged to create new music and then perform as a new pop group.

um, I'm SO there.

I also have tickets to see the Dancing With the Stars tour in January. Joey Lawrence, here I come! WHOA.

YAY.

...okay, now going back to paper.

- Argh. This past saturday, I had some car trouble with the coolant tank (i think), so my dad put some coolant in and I thought everything was a-ok, but apparently not. The same thing happened again on my way to school, so I had to turn around and go back to my house (and of course, I was already running late to put the cherry on the crap morning) and drive my brother's car, the blazer. I don't want my car to be broken :( the blazer doesn't have a cd player and it's kind of clunky, but i guess it's better than nothing.

- I don't think I mentioned this here, but a couple weeks ago I had a run in with a pack of geese at my school. I made eye contact with the leader goose and it HISSED at me. wtf? So this morning as I'm running into my building, I see another pack of geese and kind of went out of my way to get away from them. There was no eye contact with the leader goose this time, so I felt relatively safe. dude, hissing geese. I wish I was kidding.

- In class we were supposed to watch Sense & Sensibility (yay Kate Winslet & Emma Thompson & Hugh Grant & Hugh Laurie and every other amazing british actor), but my teacher decided to switch it to the Keira Knightly version of Pride & Prejudice which was pretty cool. I'd already seen it, but I'd forgotten how funny it was (true_sarcasm, it was really hard not to laugh at that part when Mr. Darcy appears in Lizzie's room...you know what i'm talking about lol).

1. Gah, Supernatural. So awesome and terrifying at once. Am now afraid of: mirrors (Bloody Mary), hooks (Hook Man), and housing developments (Bugs). That last one may or may not be true, I haven't decided yet. But I am fully immersed in the Supernatural "cult of doom" as its been called. Note to self: no more watching the dvds in the basement past nine pm. God, even the shiny screen of our big screen tv is freaking me out. It's like after that episode of Family Guy when Quagmire appeared out of nowhere behind the couch and I was freaked out for a week because of it. Yeesh.

2. I need to keep reminding myself to stop watching Zoey 101. It is awful, there is no acting involved, and Jamie Lynn Spears has the acting range of the pear on her laptop (ha, what a witty reference to Apple. not.). Just...ew, make it stop.

3. true_sarcasm, where the hell have you been? If you see this, give me a call because we need to talk about this weekend. And call cledusbear too.
