Drove for a half an hour out to class to find it to be CANCELLED. Which was awful, but it ended up being a blessing in disguise because I got to get work done for my critical analysis paper due in a couple weeks - score!

- long time no update. Nothing really earth shattering happening, just kind of stayed away from livejournal. It was nice.

- Spent the beginning of the week babysitting a couple of cute kids and made some quick cash that I really need as I need to buy books for school likerightnow. Things I've learned watching a four and seven year old:
+ you do not need to entertain them all day. that is a bad choice.
+ seven year old boys have relatively the same mood swings as teenage girls.
+ the park is an amazing source of amusement for a four year old and should be used when you want to get out of the house where it feels like the walls are going to fall on your
+ how can you tell i worked with kids? i came home with pink, purple, and orange crayola marker on my arms and face. thank god it's washable.
+ seven year old boys and i share the same fandoms. *shifts eyes*

- I dropped my environmental science class in favor of taking another job at the community center. I now sort of work with this pre-school class for the semester and it's great because it'll give me some teaching experience (sort of) and little kids are fun, so it's pretty awesome.

- Celebrity Duets - awesomely bad and great at the same time. anyone? anyone? bueller?

- hey miss_trombone, drake just saw you and went "wow u r so beautiful" *headdesk* so badddd, but so entertaining :P

- true_sarcasm, did you need me to check over your project runway paper? I mean, I guess I can look over it when I go down to Kent but you weren't online, so I figured that you were working on homework or whatever. I'll call you at some point tomorrow and you can let me know all your crazy homework antics

- Back from the family vacation/reunion of sorts in Caseville. I was allowed booze, so that made the experience a little bit better :D All in all it was great fun and it was good to see family members and there's not much more to say. My family is all shades of awesome.

- How lame was the Teen Choice Awards? Dane Cook would have been MUCH better off without Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey and I share a brain, and Brooke Hogan needs to get as far away from Hollywood as possible. Ugh, the whole experience of watching the show was just not even worth it. There were very few highlights (Johnny Depp. twice. And the kid who shot six 3 pointers was a great moment.)

- Jim & Pam! Jim & Pam! Jim & Pam!

- Happy Mother's Day! Double whammy over here because we were also celebrating my mother's birthday (which was on thursday) and it turned out to be a very nice time. My cousins, aunt, and grandfather came for a barbecue and it was great.

- Along those same lines, my cousins are awesome. They're the only ones I know in real life that consistently watch The Office, so we spent like twenty minutes talking about the season finale and then we dragged out my tape of it because my one cousin had missed the first ten minutes and my aunt wanted to watch the end, and it was just all around awesomeness. They're all so funny :D

- Ugh, will the crappy weather please go away?
